The Format
The c2timeline file format is open to everyone. Anyone may read, write, or build software around the format without paying fees or requiring a license from us, ensuring long-term data longevity.
The Tools
The two Python helper scripts are open source under the Apache License 2.0. Anyone may use, modify, or redistribute them freely, even without purchasing the commercial application.
